Roster Information
The Shared Procurement Portal Partners (SPPP) utilize the below rosters as a means of soliciting and notifying
businesses and contractors about opportunities to respond to bids and proposals.
The rosters use the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing
(NIGP) codes to help vendors identify the services they provide. The SPPP uses NIGP’s 5-digit
coding structure to classify service and supply areas. You can find a list of the most common classification
codes the SPPP uses to select suppliers here.
The Shared Procurement Portal rosters have been divided into the following rosters:
-
The Small Public Works Roster
(RCW 39.04.155) may
be used to solicit bids on small public work construction projects estimated up to $300,000. Public works
include all work, construction, alteration, repair or improvement other than ordinary maintenance,
executed at the cost of the agency.
-
The Professional Services/Architectural & Engineering (A & E) Roster
(RCW 39.80) may be
used to solicit proposals from Professional Service providers. Applying to this roster requires an
electronic Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to be uploaded for
certain classification codes. Professional Services are defined as "expert in professional services
which involve extended analysis, the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in their performance,
and an advanced, specialized type of knowledge, expertise, or training customarily acquired either by a
prolonged course of study or equivalent experience such as architects, surveyors, engineers, accountants,
physicians, attorneys, consultants and designers".
-
The Information Technology Consulting & Services Roster may be used to solicit proposals for
IT consulting and services. If you apply to this roster, you may be required to submit a
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). This would include services such as
application support, Geographic Information Services (GIS) support, infrastructure services (cabling, etc.),
IT management consulting, IT project management, photogrammetry services, and software development.
-
The General Services Roster may be used to solicit proposals for all other service related work
that is not considered a public work or professional service. Applying to this roster may require an
electronic Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to be uploaded for
certain classification codes. General Services includes such services as building maintenance, janitorial,
automotive, instructors, entertainers, etc.
-
The Legal Services Roster may be used to solicit proposals for legal consulting and services.
Applying to this roster may require an applicant to submit a Statement of
Qualifications (SOQ).
-
The Supply Vendor Roster may be used to maintain a list of all interested vendors that seek to
provide goods, materials, and supplies to the member agencies. This registration is not required for you
to do business with these member agencies. The member agency may utilize this list, to the extent
practicable, for soliciting quotations for goods and/or products.
